Youth Ministry Coordinator (Part-time)
Job Overview: To inspire and lead a team dedicated to anchoring the hearts of children to the Truth and leading them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Hours:
A schedule of approximately 15-17 hours per week will be expected. At the same time, recognize that events and activities come up and extended hours may occasionally be called for. The flexible nature of ministry makes schedule adjustments possible as the need dictates.
Compensation:
A schedule of approximately 12-15 hours per week will be expected. At the same time, recognize that events, camps, and retreats come up and extended hours may occasionally be called for. The flexible nature of ministry makes schedule adjustments possible as the need dictates. Salary will be agreed upon and set based on experience (base: $12,500). It will be reviewed annually by the elder board and adjusted based on performance, scope of responsibility, and church needs.

Youth Ministry Coordinator (Part-time)
Job Overview: To inspire and lead a team dedicated to anchoring the hearts of children to the Truth and leading them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities:
- Serve and support the vision, mission and strategic plan of Lockport Alliance Church.
- Attend Sunday morning worship services regularly and serve as the KidMin representative to the Ministry Board.
- Meet regularly with the pastoral staff for coaching and communication.
- Work with a team of passionate adults to disciple youth in their walk with God in both large group and smaller relational environments.
- Recruit additional adult volunteers as needed.
- Coordinate weekly youth group meetings for middle school and high school students during the school year and various activities during the summer.
- Give leadership and vision to calendar and curriculum planning for youth group and activities.
- Encourage teens to participate in the larger ministry of the church through fellowship, worship and service opportunities.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend youth camps, retreats, fundraisers, and service opportunities.
- Arrange necessary transportation, facilities, and parental consent for off-site activities.
- Organize and facilitate “Youth Sunday” annually to highlight the youth ministry and honor graduates.
Qualifications:
- Evidences a solid and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Agrees with the Statement of Faith of the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

Abilities and Characteristics:
- Displays evidence of an intentional personal relationship with Christ.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills. Uses those skills to communicate effectively with youth and their families to build lasting redemptive relationships.
- Shows ability to teach and to facilitate group discussions.
- Maintains a high level of excellence and quality.
- Values a “team approach” to ministry and is loyal and teachable.
