As a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, missionary is our middle name. Acts 1:8 tells us that, "...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." The last words Jesus spoke before he ascended into heaven was a call to go. Through our church's giving to the Great Commission Fund we help support over 700 International Workers serving in 70 different countries around the world. More than 2,000 U.S. churches with a combined membership of more than 430,000 regularly gather to celebrate Jesus in multiple languages. On top of being supporters of the Great Commission Fund and cheerleaders for our International Workers, we also take seriously the call to, "Go!" Lockport Alliance has sent mission teams to Gabon, West Africa, Bosnia, the Domincan Republic, Burkina Faso, and to Haiti.
